Our Class

Welcome to Year 6!

As we are now the oldest children in the school, we have a lot of exciting responsibilities and challenges ahead.
Year 6 is not just about SATs, we explore our local area in history and complete lots of exciting investigations in Science. As part of our RE and PSHE lessons we learn about the role we have as responsible and respectful citizens in our school and wider community, especially as we prepare to leave primary school and start secondary school.

As we prepare to move to secondary school we spend time working closely with the year 6 pupils in WEST trust schools and local organisations such as NUFoundation, to develop effecive relationships. We also have the opportunity to go on many interesting trips such as the end of year residential!

The staff in Y6 this year are:
  • Ms Pearson
  • Mrs Kilbane
  • Mrs Spencer
  • Mrs Clayton
  • Mrs James
Our P.E. days are:
