We are incredibly proud to have a Chelsea Flower Show Garden within our school grounds, providing our children with a unique and inspiring outdoor learning environment.

The garden was designed by Ashleigh Aylett, the Woodland Trust: Forgotten Forests Garden celebrates the vital work of the Woodland Trust in restoring the UK's rare and precious ancient woodlands. The garden highlights the importance of protecting these vulnerable habitats, many of which have been lost or overshadowed by plantations of non-native conifer trees. 

The garden provides a beautiful space for discovery, reflection and learning. Children have the opportunity to explore the natural world first-hand, developing their understanding of biodiversity, conservation and the role that woodlands play in supporting wildlife and tackling climate change. Through regular use of the garden, pupils are encouraged to appreciate and care for the environment while experiencing the wellbeing benefits of spending time in nature.

Having such a special garden on our school site is a wonderful legacy from the Chelsea Flower Show and supports our commitment to outdoor learning, environmental responsibility and nurturing curiosity about the world around us.
