Happy New Year! 

This term we have a lot of exciting things to look forward to. We will be taking part in some STEM activities with the WEST trust in February and preparing for our SATs in May. Above is a copy of our topic map for Spring 1 so you can see what we will be learning.

PE

Monday and Wednesday are PE days for year 6 this half term.

Please check if your child is having swimming lessons on a Monday as they will require swimming kit.

Homework

Above you will see the homework grid for Spring 1. Any activity completed and brought in to school will earn 20 learning points.

We encourage year 6 to read their reading book every day. Please encourage them to read at home too and return their book and folder daily.

The children all have details to log in to EMILE and TT rockstars at home. We would recommend trying to use either of the apps in 10 min bursts to support with maths.
